By accessing or using Cache.Deals ("the Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Site. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

2. Description of Service

Cache.Deals is a firearms community platform that provides:

  • Videos: Curated firearm education video content aggregated from YouTube.
  • Gun Laws: State-by-state gun law information and comparison tools for educational purposes.
  • Marketplace: A community marketplace where registered users can post listings to buy, sell, trade, or share firearms, accessories, and related items.
  • FFL Directory: A searchable directory of Federal Firearms Licensees (FFLs) derived from public ATF records.
  • Ask Cache: An AI-powered question and answer tool for firearms-related information.
  • Articles: Editorial content including reviews, guides, and news.

3. User Accounts

Certain features of the Site, including the Marketplace, require you to create an account via Google Sign-In. By creating an account, you agree that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age.
  • You will provide accurate information and keep your account details current.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You will not share your account credentials or allow others to access your account.
  • We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion for violations of these Terms.

4. Marketplace Terms

The Cache.Deals Marketplace allows registered users to post listings and communicate with other users. By using the Marketplace, you agree to the following:

4.1 Peer-to-Peer Transactions

Cache.Deals is a platform that connects buyers and sellers. We do not process payments, handle shipping, escrow funds, or otherwise participate in transactions between users. All transactions are conducted directly between the parties involved. Cache.Deals is not a party to any transaction and assumes no liability for disputes, fraud, non-delivery, or any other issues arising from user transactions.

4.2 Legal Compliance

You are solely responsible for ensuring that any transaction complies with all applicable federal, state, and local laws. All firearm transfers must be conducted through a licensed Federal Firearms Licensee (FFL) as required by law. You must comply with all background check requirements, waiting periods, and other regulations applicable to your jurisdiction.

4.3 Prohibited Listings

The following items and content are prohibited on the Marketplace:

  • Machine guns, auto sears, swift links, lightning links, or other automatic conversion devices
  • Explosives, grenades, rocket launchers, or other destructive devices
  • Biological, chemical, or poisonous weapons or substances
  • Stolen property or items with obliterated serial numbers
  • Items that violate federal, state, or local law
  • Fraudulent, misleading, or deceptive listings

Listings for NFA-regulated items such as suppressors, short-barreled rifles (SBRs), and short-barreled shotguns (SBSs) are permitted provided all parties comply with applicable NFA transfer requirements. These listings will display regulatory notices.

4.4 Content Standards

Listings must be accurate and not misleading. You are responsible for all content you post, including titles, descriptions, images, and any other information. We reserve the right to remove any listing or content that violates these Terms, applicable law, or our content policies, with or without notice.

4.5 User Interactions

You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users. Cache.Deals does not screen users, verify their identity beyond Google authentication, or guarantee the accuracy of user profiles or ratings. Exercise caution and good judgment in all communications and transactions.

THE GUN LAW INFORMATION PROVIDED ON THIS SITE IS FOR GENERAL EDUCATIONAL AND INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. IT DOES NOT CONSTITUTE LEGAL ADVICE AND SHOULD NOT BE RELIED UPON AS SUCH.

The FFL Directory contains information derived from publicly available ATF records supplemented with additional data from public sources. FFL listings are provided for informational purposes to help users locate licensed dealers. Cache.Deals does not endorse, recommend, or guarantee any FFL listed in the directory. Business information, including hours, services, and contact details, may not be current. Always contact an FFL directly to confirm details before visiting.

7. AI Features Disclaimer

The Ask Cache feature provides AI-generated responses based on indexed content. AI responses may contain inaccuracies, outdated information, or errors. AI-generated answers do not constitute legal, financial, or professional advice. Do not rely solely on AI responses for decisions regarding firearms laws, safety, or transactions. Always verify information from authoritative primary sources.

8. Video Content

Videos displayed on Cache.Deals are embedded from YouTube and remain the property of their respective creators and YouTube/Google. Cache.Deals does not host, upload, or claim ownership of any video content. We curate and organize publicly available videos for educational purposes. If you are a content creator and wish to have your content removed from our index, please contact us.

9. User-Generated Content

By posting content on the Site (including marketplace listings, comments, messages, and images), you:

  • Grant Cache.Deals a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display, distribute, and use your content in connection with the Site's operation.
  • Represent that you own or have the right to post all content you submit.
  • Agree not to post content that is defamatory, obscene, harassing, threatening, or otherwise objectionable.
  • Acknowledge that we may remove, edit, or refuse to display any content at our sole discretion.

10. User Conduct

You agree not to:

Users may report listings or content that violates these Terms. We reserve the right to remove content and suspend accounts without prior notice for violations. Content moderation decisions are made at our sole discretion and are final.

12. Intellectual Property

The Site's design, layout, original text, AI-generated content, and compilation of content are the property of Cache.Deals. Gun law data is derived from publicly available statutes and government sources. FFL data is derived from public ATF records. Video content belongs to its respective creators. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our original content without permission.

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CACHE.DEALS AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR RELIANCE ON ANY INFORMATION PROVIDED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO GUN LAW INFORMATION, AI-GENERATED RESPONSES, FFL DIRECTORY DATA, OR MARKETPLACE TRANSACTIONS. THIS INCLUDES ANY LEGAL CONSEQUENCES, FINES, PENALTIES, CRIMINAL CHARGES, FINANCIAL LOSSES, OR PERSONAL INJURY THAT MAY RESULT FROM ACTIONS TAKEN BASED ON INFORMATION FOUND ON THIS SITE OR TRANSACTIONS CONDUCTED THROUGH THE MARKETPLACE.

14. Indemnification

Marketplace "Sale / Deal" listings may link to external retailer websites; Cache.Deals is not affiliated with these retailers and does not guarantee the accuracy of pricing, availability, or coupon codes.

16. Dispute Resolution

Disputes between users (including marketplace transaction disputes) are the sole responsibility of the parties involved. Cache.Deals will not mediate or arbitrate user disputes. For disputes between you and Cache.Deals regarding the Site or these Terms, you agree to attempt to resolve the matter informally by contacting us before initiating any formal proceedings.

17. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the appropriate courts.
