The Swedish m/41B, a Mauser-based sniper rifle, was developed in WWII due to a lack of scoped rifles. Initially using German Ajack scopes, production shifted to domestic AGA optics before a 1955 refurbishment standardized Ajack 4x scopes and improved the mounting system. Converted from accurate service rifles, it featured a unique scope release and later an m/55 dial-adjustable rear sight, remaining in service until 1991.
