This review covers the Krebs Custom UFM AK-47 (AKM) and VEPR Rifle Handguards. The handguards are constructed from lightweight 6065 T6 aluminum with a hard anodized finish and feature KeyMod cutouts for accessory mounting. They are designed to retain the lower handguard retainer on AKM rifles and require a Sega gas tube or a modified AKM gas tube. The top cover is removable for cleaning and maintains zero when reinstalled.
