The Taurus TX22 proves to be a surprisingly reliable .22 LR pistol, especially when fed quality ammunition. While it handles bulk Federal ammo with only minor issues, it excels with CCI Mini-Mags. The pistol struggles with very low-velocity subsonic rounds and significantly dirty range ammo, experiencing malfunctions like stovepipes and failures to feed. Despite these limitations, its good trigger and ergonomics make it an excellent training tool.
