Faxon Firearms introduced their new in-house manufactured bolt action receivers at SHOT Show 2023. These actions are designed with a Remington 700 footprint, featuring a 416 stainless steel body and a 4340 bolt with patented flame fluting. They boast an integral recoil lug and pic rail, with an MSRP under $1,000. Faxon will also offer pre-fit bolt action barrels in various calibers and profiles, with options for both button and cut rifling, promising sub-MOA and sub-half-MOA accuracy respectively. The actions will be available in multiple finishes, including DLC and nitride, with shipping expected in the summer.
