The Japanese Type 4 Garand, a late-WWII attempt by the Imperial Navy to replicate the M1 Garand, featured significant design changes. Production was limited to approximately 125 assembled rifles at Yokosuka Naval Arsenal, making it a rare collector's item. It incorporates Arisaka-style features and uses the 7.7x58mm cartridge.
