The RMA Armament Model 1155 Level IV body armor plates are NIJ certified and tested against significant threats including .30-06 AP, .223 Remington, and 7.62x54R Silver Tip rounds, all of which were successfully stopped. While effective against standard threats, the plates were penetrated by a .50 BMG API round in an extreme test, as expected. The plates offer a balance of protection and affordability.
