The Milo Hanson Buck, the world's largest typical whitetail, scored 213 5/8 inches and was harvested in 1993. Despite being only 3.5 years old, its impressive 6x6 antlers featured main beams over 27 inches and tines exceeding 12 inches. A unique aspect of the hunt involved a .308 rifle shot that struck and damaged the right main beam and G2 tine. Hanson is also recognized for achieving back-to-back Boone and Crockett record bucks.
