This review of the Bushnell AR Optics 1-4x24mm PCL scope highlights its strong value proposition, especially for its First Focal Plane (FFP) reticle at a ~$200 price point. While offering a functional 1-4x magnification range and a useful BTR-1 reticle calibrated for 5.56/.223, the scope exhibits some drawbacks. These include mushy turrets with inaccurate tracking (closer to 0.15 Mil), a non-daylight-bright illumination, and noticeable light leakage from the objective lens at higher settings. Despite being heavier than advertised and competitors, its FFP capability makes it a compelling budget option for AR-15 platforms.
