The FN Scar 20S receives significant updates for 2026, including a new hydraulic buffer system for reduced recoil and an ambidextrous bolt release. It maintains its 7.62x51mm chambering and will also be available in 6.5 Creedmoor. Ergonomic improvements include an AR-15 compatible grip and a longer, MLOK-compatible forearm. FN also introduces new low back pressure suppressors designed for SCAR platforms.
