Key updates include a lighter front end, a folding charging handle, and a revised charging handle slot for improved ergonomics. A significant change is the dedicated lower receiver with a built-in adapter, eliminating the need for Mil-Spec compatibility and offering a sleeker design. PSA is also developing their own stock and pistol grip for this platform, along with factory-installed ambidextrous controls.
