This review evaluates seven red dot and holographic sights for AR-15 platforms, using Aimpoint T2 and EOTech EXPS3-0 as benchmarks. Testing focused on parallax, tracking, durability, and night vision performance. The SIG Sauer Romeo 8T and Trijicon MRO HD stood out for glass clarity and parallax control, respectively, while the Vortex SPARC offered surprising night vision capabilities for its price. The Meprolight Tru-Vision and Vortex UH-1 Huey were noted for significant drawbacks.
