S&T Motiv, formerly Daewoo, is planning to bring production of their classic K1 and K2 rifles to the US market. The K1 is an AR-15-like direct impingement carbine, while the K2 utilizes a more reliable AK-style long-stroke gas piston system. Both rifles served as standard issue for the South Korean military and are expected to be offered with US-compliant barrel lengths.
