The Monstrum Archangel is a new 1-6x First Focal Plane (FFP) LPVO prototype showcased at Shot Show 2024. It features ED glass for clarity and an FFP reticle for consistent ranging information across magnifications. The design is unique and impractical to manufacture, taking longer and using more aluminum than standard scopes. It includes a piggyback mount for red dot sights and is expected to be available within 6 months if production is approved, with an estimated retail price around $300, approximately 25% more than a comparable 1-6x FFP scope.
