Both scopes demonstrated excellent detail resolution, capable of clearly identifying .22 caliber bullet holes. The Arken EP5 exhibited a warmer image, while the Vortex Strike Eagle was brighter. Notably, the Vortex scope showed purple fringing (chromatic aberration) not present on the Arken model when tested with a USAF 1951 resolution chart, where both resolved to element 6, group -1.
