Hadar II: A Ban-Era Commercial Galil

Published on January 31, 2017
Duration: 9:53

The Hadar II is a rare, commercial-market .308 variant of the Israeli Galil rifle, imported to the US in 1989. It's based on the Galatz sniper rifle and features civilian-specific modifications like a thumbhole stock to comply with US import laws of the era. The Galil itself is an evolution of the Finnish Valmet RK-62, itself based on the AK design, with notable improvements in sights and controls.
