What this site is

Cache.Deals consolidates the research a gun owner otherwise does across a dozen tabs: curated video reviews and training content from established firearms channels, plain-English gun law guides for all 50 states plus DC and federal law, a directory of more than 70,000 licensed firearms dealers built from official ATF licensee data, firearms industry news, and original buyer's guides and analysis written by our editorial team.

Where the data comes from

• Videos. We index and analyze firearm videos from established YouTube creators. Every video page links to and credits the original creator — the views happen on their channel, not ours. Our analysis pipeline extracts what the experts actually say so we can surface consensus across hundreds of reviews instead of one opinion.
• Gun laws.Each state guide is researched against primary sources — state statutes, attorney general publications, and tracked legislation and litigation. Every state page shows its research date. Gun laws change; we track pending bills and court cases that may affect what's on the page.
• FFL directory.Dealer listings come from the ATF's federal firearms licensee data, refreshed monthly. We surface storefront dealer types and flag records that look like home-based licenses so you can find an actual shop.
• News. Our news section aggregates and summarizes reporting from established firearms industry outlets, with links to the original reporting.
• Articles & guides. Original editorial work — see our editorial policy for how it's researched, written, and sourced.

Cache.Deals is not a gun store and does not sell firearms. We are an independent information resource. Nothing on this site is legal advice — for legal questions about firearm ownership, transport, or carry, consult a licensed attorney in your state.
