Colt Optics LPVO Selected for Canadian Modular Assault Rifle (CMAR)

Summary

Colt Optics, a subsidiary of Colt CZ Group, has been selected to provide its custom-designed 1-6x Low Power Variable Optic (LPVO) and a custom dual ring mounting solution for the Canadian Modular Assault Rifle (CMAR) program. This program will replace the Canadian Armed Forces' C7 and C8 rifles with up to 65,000 CMAR rifles (Colt Canada MRR variants) over the next five years, with the optics to be produced in Canada.
