Colt Optics' New LE-Only Laser Shows Where Aiming Tech Is Heading

Colt Optics, in partnership with Brolis Defence, has launched the LP5X-P, a weapon-mounted aiming laser restricted to law enforcement and military sales. This advanced unit features four co-aligned emitters: a 26 mW visible green laser, an IR pointer, an adjustable IR illuminator, and a VCSEL IR flood, all zeroing to the same point of impact. The LP5X-P weighs 185 grams, is IP68 rated, runs on a CR123 battery, and mounts to MIL-STD-1913/STANAG 4694 Picatinny rails.
