The OG Whippet Shotgun Can Be Yours At Auction

The Browning Auto-5 16-gauge “Whippet” shotgun, famously carried and modified by Clyde Barrow of Bonnie and Clyde, is being auctioned by the Rock Island Auction Company. Made in Belgium around 1931, the semi-automatic shotgun was found in Clyde's lap after the 1934 ambush and bears a visible ricochet mark. It is estimated to sell for $375,000 to $650,000.
