This video reviews the 1791 Industries Light Rider AK rail, a novel product made from a proprietary 'Magnite' material that is significantly lighter and claims to be stronger than aluminum. The rail is a close aesthetic clone of Zenitco designs but is not compatible with Zenitco parts. Installation on a Romanian AKM was exceptionally easy, taking only about 5 minutes, a stark contrast to typical Zenitco installations. The material also demonstrated impressive heat resistance during extensive live-fire testing.
