This experiment tested how many aluminum baseball bats are needed to stop various bullet calibers. The .22 LR barely dented the first bat, while 9mm penetrated one bat. The 5.56 Green Tip went through four bats before stopping in the fifth. The .308 Winchester round, however, passed through all six bats.
