This review covers the rare Star Model MMS and Model MB pistol-carbines, produced as late as 1975. It details their history, distinct calibers (7.63mm Mauser for MMS, 9mm Parabellum for MB), and unique features like the T-slot stock attachment. The video highlights production numbers, legal status regarding NFA exemptions, and the complete factory rig.
The Star Model 1920 is a Spanish locked-breech pistol, mechanically similar to the Colt 1911 but with distinct differences like a slide-mounted safety and no grip safety. Initially tested by the Spanish Army, it was adopted by the Guardia Civil. Later iterations, like the Model 1921 (Model A), incorporated requested upgrades such as a grip safety and adjustable sights, eventually leading to its adoption by the Spanish Army post-WWII.
