The Charles Daly Field Grade 1911, manufactured in Italy by Brixia, offers exceptional Italian craftsmanship at a $499 MSRP. It features a durable manganese parkerized finish, tight part fitment, and a Series 70 design for a crisp trigger. The all-steel pistol performed reliably during range testing with a .45 ACP recoil described as a manageable 'push'.
The Modello 1928 Tromboncino was an Italian rifle-mounted grenade launcher based on the Carcano 91/28 TS rifle. It featured a unique shared bolt system between the rifle and launcher to save weight and prevent accidental firing. Though innovative, its limited grenade effectiveness led to obsolescence by 1934, replaced by the Brixia Model 35. These launchers are exceptionally rare, with few known examples in the US.
