This video demonstrates an experimental technique for shattering a metal chain by first freezing it in liquid nitrogen and then impacting it with a 12 Gauge shotgun slug. The experiment, conducted by Edwin Sarkissian, shows the effectiveness of extreme cold in making the metal brittle, leading to instant fragmentation upon impact. The Mossberg 590 shotgun and Federal Premium Vital-Shok slugs were utilized in this unique test.
