This video introduces the Trijicon Ventus, a groundbreaking downrange wind sensor and rangefinder. It utilizes Doppler lidar to measure wind conditions up to 500 yards away, providing ballistic solutions within the eyepiece. The device can also range non-reflective targets up to 5,000 yards and syncs with a mobile app for detailed wind analysis.
The Trijicon Ventus is a handheld, laser-based remote wind sensor featuring a 1550nm laser for ranging up to 5000 meters and three 1550nm lasers for wind measurement up to 500 meters using the Doppler effect. It integrates a full environmental suite for ballistic solutions, including air temperature, pressure, incline angle, GPS, and magnetic heading. The Ventus X model will include a ballistic solver utilizing Trijicon's CCAS fire control system data, with a library of 160-180 bullets.
