This video demonstrates the consequences of bending a shotgun barrel. A 12-gauge pump-action shotgun's barrel was intentionally flattened and then bent to 90 degrees. Firing the obstructed barrel resulted in deformation but not catastrophic failure, while firing the 90-degree bent barrel caused a rupture at the bend, though the projectile still exited.
