The IMI Galatz, a Galil-based DMR chambered in 7.62 NATO, was introduced in 1983 and imported to the US as a semi-auto rifle. It features a heavy 23-inch barrel, a substantial muzzle brake, and a unique left-offset scope mount with a spring-loaded bipod. The standard Nimrod 6x40 scope offers BDC out to 800 meters, and the rifle achieves approximately 1.5 MOA accuracy, balancing precision with a higher volume of fire.
