This video tests the penetration capabilities of 22LR ammunition through wood. The CCI Mini-Mag and a hollow-point subsonic round were used to test penetration through one, two, and three pieces of wood. The CCI Mini-Mag penetrated one and two pieces of wood, while the hollow-point subsonic also penetrated one and two pieces. Neither round successfully penetrated three pieces of wood.
