This review tests Norma Safeguard 124-grain 9mm ammunition using ballistic gel and two different firearms: a MC9 with a 3.1-inch barrel and a Glock 17 with a 4.5-inch barrel. Despite initial concerns about low advertised velocities and misleading packaging, the ammunition demonstrated surprisingly good expansion and penetration in gel tests, with excellent material retention.
