The CMMG Anvil MkW-15 XBE is a modern sporting rifle chambered in .458 SOCOM, designed for big game stopping power. It features a direct impingement system, carbine-length gas system with an adjustable gas block, and a 16-inch threaded barrel. The rifle is built on CMMG's enlarged receiver and bolt components, originally developed for the 7.62x39mm Mutant, making it suitable for the larger .458 SOCOM cartridge. It accepts standard AR-15 magazines with a converted follower, holding 10 rounds of .458 SOCOM.
