The Spanish FR8, also known as the Setenil, is a highly regarded military surplus bolt-action rifle. Originally a Spanish large ring Mauser, it was heavily modified in Spain. Its key features include being rechambered to 7.62x51mm NATO/.308 Winchester, a shorter barrel and stock, and factory-installed Setm SE iron sights. Notably, it features a 15mm thread pitch, allowing for the easy attachment of modern muzzle devices and suppressors without extensive gunsmithing.
