This experiment, inspired by Demolition Ranch and conducted by Edwin Sarkissian, tests the ballistic resistance of tightly rolled fire hoses against various bullet calibers. The results show that fire hoses are surprisingly effective, stopping 9mm and .50 AE rounds within approximately 6 layers, .338 Lapua within 12 layers, and even a .50 BMG round at point-blank range. The video demonstrates the surprising stopping power of this unconventional material.
