This review tests the Somogear NGAL, a budget clone of the L3 NGAL, for real-world firearm use. Despite its 'airsoft' marketing, it features PCB potting and a solid aluminum build. Initial testing revealed minor co-alignment offsets and mounting inconsistencies on certain rails, but it held zero reasonably well after 240 rounds of 5.56 and performed admirably during night vision testing with a clean illuminator beam.
