The SR3 Vikhr is a compact 9x39mm PDW developed in the early 1990s for Russian FSB VIP protection and counter-terrorism. It features a short 6.1-inch barrel, top-folding stock, and a unique top-mounted charging handle for concealability. Mechanically similar to the AS Val/VSS Vintorez but without an integral suppressor, it uses a dual-spring system and gas-operated rotating bolt.
