The M14 TP2, Estonia's modernized M14 sniper rifle, featured a B&T optics mount and Schmidt & Bender PM II scope, significantly improving upon the earlier TP1. While serving as a capable Designated Marksman Rifle in conflicts like Iraq and Afghanistan, it was eventually replaced by LMT R20 L rifles. Many of these Estonian M14s were later supplied to Ukraine.
The Estonian M14 TP2, introduced in 2008, is a sniper adaptation of the M14 rifle. It features a Brügger & Thomet (B&T) optics mount replacing the stripper clip guide for improved stability and an adjustable cheek riser for shooter comfort. Paired with a Schmidt & Bender 3-12x PM2 scope, this configuration proved more successful than earlier Estonian sniper variants.
