I Built a 1,000 Yard AK
Brandon Herrera successfully built and tested a custom AK-74 chambered in .224 Valkyrie capable of 1,000-yard shots, challenging AK accuracy stereotypes. The build utilized a Bulgarian AK-74 parts kit, Morrissey receiver, and various aftermarket components like ALG Defense trigger and SLR Rifleworks M-LOK rail. Despite using standard 5.45 magazines, the rifle demonstrated impressive long-range accuracy with a custom 22-inch barrel.
