FN M1900
The FN M1900, designed by John Browning, was the first successful slide-action semi-automatic pistol and introduced the .32 ACP cartridge. While historically significant and used by figures like Teddy Roosevelt, its design features a unique recoil spring placement above the barrel and requires a screwdriver for field stripping. Modern comparisons show the Colt 1903 eventually surpassed it in the US market, and the reviewed example exhibited some extraction malfunctions due to age.
