German Sten Copy: MP 3008, aka Gerät Neumünster
The MP 3008, or Gerät Neumünster, was a desperate 'last-ditch' German submachine gun designed for rapid, low-cost production during the final stages of WWII. It's a simplified copy of the British Sten gun, modified to accept standard MP40 magazines and featuring crude construction due to extreme material and time constraints. Production was decentralized, leading to variations in finish and markings, with this example bearing the 'TKK' code.
