The Pieper 7-Barrel Mitrailleuse was a unique 19th-century sporting firearm designed as a long-range shotgun alternative. Unlike military volley guns, its seven rifled barrels fired simultaneously, offering tight groupings of approximately 20 inches at 100 yards. It featured a modified rolling block action and a seven-round cartridge plate for rapid loading and firing.
