This video compares two Athlon Optics LPVOs: the Cronus 1-6x24 and the Aries 1-10x24. The Cronus, made in Japan, features premium glass, pop-up turrets with return-to-zero, and a second focal plane (SFP) design. The Aries, made in China, offers a wider magnification range (1-10x), a first focal plane (FFP) reticle, and comes with flip caps and a throw lever, but has slightly less refined glass and traditional turrets. Both optics provide usable illumination but are not daylight-bright.
