This video tests the theory that 9mm bullets generate significant heat upon impact. Using a Nox Lumi 35r thermal camera, the experiment observes a color-changing target and ballistic gel after being shot. The results indicate that while bullets do increase the temperature of the target and gel, the heat transfer into the gel is minimal and not enough to cause a burn.
