This video tests the ballistic resistance of Jaws of Life rescue tools against high-caliber .50 BMG rounds. The first test with a .50 Cal Silver Tip API round created a large crater but did not completely destroy the forged aluminum arm. However, a subsequent shot with a .50 Cal Raufoss round caused catastrophic failure, completely severing the arm.
