CA Ammo Background Check Law Update! The Battle Goes On...
As of April 23rd, California's ammunition background check law, effective July 1st, 2019, was temporarily enjoined by Judge Benitez. However, on April 24th, the Ninth Circuit issued an emergency stay, reinstating the requirement for background checks when purchasing ammunition. This means the state is currently back to the previous regulations, requiring these checks.
