National Disability Awareness Shoot
The National Disability Awareness Shoot, originating from the NRA Adaptive Shooting Sports Committee, aims to support and expand shooting sports participation for individuals with disabilities. The event serves as a beta test for a model that can be replicated nationwide, fostering an environment where participants can compete as equals. The initiative also focuses on fundraising for an endowment to design adaptive ranges and develop specialized lesson plans and curriculum, promoting rehabilitation and camaraderie through shooting.
