Slow Motion: Scotti Model X
This video examines the Scotti Model X, an Italian prototype rifle from the 1930s that underwent troop trials. It functions as an open-bolt, semi-automatic rifle, firing from an open bolt and locking open after each shot. The design features a rotating bolt and a short-stroke gas piston system for operation. The rifle is chambered in 6.5 Carcano and utilizes a six-round Carcano clip that drops from the receiver upon firing the last round.
