50 BMG vs Anvil
This video details a destructive testing experiment pitting a 55lb cast iron anvil against various high-caliber firearms, culminating with the .50 BMG. While calibers like .338 Lapua and .308 created craters, only the .50 BMG, specifically Armor Piercing Incendiary Tracer (APIT) and Armor Piercing Incendiary (API) rounds, managed to cause significant structural damage and a through-hole in the anvil. The .50 BMG proved to be the only caliber capable of compromising the anvil's integrity.
