Hammerli FK-31: Diopter Competition Rifles for the Haganah
The Hammerli FK-31 is a rare, diopter-sighted competition variant of the Schmidt-Rubin K-31 rifle, originally procured by early Israeli forces around 1948. These rifles were part of a clandestine order of 200 units, officially destined for Nicaragua but diverted to Israel. The FK-31 features integrated diopter sights, a departure from standard military K-31s, and retains the K-31's reliable straight-pull bolt action and 6-round detachable magazine chambered in 7.5x55mm Swiss.
