Steyr's New Modular Pistols: AT-C Competition and AT-D Defense
Steyr introduces the modular AT-C (Competition) and AT-D (Defense) pistols, aiming to fill the void left by discontinued European Sig P226 models. These hammer-fired handguns offer extensive modularity, including interchangeable triggers, barrels, and frames, with Steyr releasing open-source 3D files for grip customization. The AT-D features a DA/SA trigger and a 4-inch barrel, while the AT-C offers SAO triggers and barrel length options of 4, 5, or 6 inches. Both models utilize dual modular recoil springs and offer adjustable hammer spring weights for tuning.
