This experiment tests the ballistic resistance of a washing machine and dryer against various firearms, from .22 LR to a .50 BMG sniper rifle. Surprisingly, even high-powered rounds like the AR-15's green tip and the .50 AE Desert Eagle were stopped by the washing machine. A 12 gauge slug and the .50 BMG round penetrated the washing machine, but were ultimately stopped by the dryer.
